when your husband sets the cable music channel to "arena rock" for you, normally one of the last things he'd want to listen to. Though, they did play some Maiden earlier (Can I Play With Madness?).

LOL!! yeah, that's love for ya.

My sweetie and I have DirecTV now and they have the XM satellte stations. There's one called "Boneyard" which is made up (more or less) of hair metal bands and classic heavy metal (Preist, Sabbath, Maiden, Scorps).

It's something we both can agree on ... and boy am I glad he's done with that Slayer phase he was going through for a while. ;-)

hehehehe... i've been going through that slayer phase since i was 13 ;)

usually i put on the "heavy metal" station, which is slayer/arch enemy/gwar type stuff. arena rock is the hair bands and big theatrical metal groups.

i do enjoy the arena rock station, even if it's just to laugh at it :)
