The Tiki den is almost finished (or will it really be finished? Its probably a work in progress more likely). I'll want to take the curtains in there (which are actually clipped up bed spreads from Urban Outfitters) and sew them into real lined, properly fitting curtains at some point. For now they are there with plastic shower curtain liners behind them for privacy - not pretty but its cheap and doesn't make it like we're sitting in a fish bowl each night with the lights on. If I had known you guys were going to go all Tiki, I would have brought something back tiki-ish from Hawaii last year. It's lookin good! ;-)

Heh, B saw some tiki-ish curtains earlier when she was at Bed Bath and Beyond, and we wanted to let you guys know about them, but I can't find any on-line description or photos. Apparently form what B told me they are actually shower curtains with a grass like cover.... (She can probably give a better description) From the display B saw they were called "palapa"....

The name of the curtain is "Palapa", simply that. No idea who the manufacturer is, since it wasn't on the display item AND there were no available ones in the racks. This was the BB&Beyond in Burlington, so others might have it.

Anyway, it's three layers of grass skirt looking material, and material flowers at the top. Makes you wanna do the hula. I thought maybe you'd like some appropriate curtainage for your tiki lounge. :-)
