We did it

It was rainy, windy and chilly but the fireworks along The Charles were lovely. Our area was on the Boston side of the river, directly across from the barge that shot the fireworks off. I'm proud of our perseverance and feel much more like a real Bostonian now (though, I'm not sure I'd ever want to do it again).

Deadwinter and Tisana: you drove by us on Green Street while we were waiting for our bus home (around 11:40 PM or so). Things got over with at Hull fairly early then? :)

Happy Independence Day! Here's an amusing debate over the country's birthplace:

Hull was basically dead. Without other people to do the outing thing, it was just the two of us, reading in our chairs. It turns out you cannot gill on the beach, so the year I did it I probably just got away with it.

Then it started raining and we packed it up and came back to the city.

I did learn a lot for next year, though.
