The battery on my teeny Dalek http://www.firebox.com/product/1718 is dying. Anyone know where I can get "L G3 Cell batteries" . Nothing at CVS was named or looked anything like it.

Batteries are actually pretty standard across the board. Radio Shack should have it, or be able to get it though.

the batteries are standard, but the naming isn't. i had that issue getting batteries for my gundam wing model. the battery type listed in the manual had a different number in the US.

I don't think that's a country related thing though. I think that's more a company related thing. When I had my first camcorder the battery for it was Canon, the replacement batter I bought was Hitachi, both japanese manufacturers but with different battery IDs. That's not really important though, the way you posted it it seemed like you thought there'd be a difference. Then again I've been reading all kinds of things wrong today with this fantastic migraine I am trying to lose...

well, that's why i said it was the UK *name* and that in the US it will probably be different.

trust me, i've been through this dance before with the little button cell batteries :)
