It was a fun dance class last night - boy was I in a silly mood! My toe didn't bother me in the tap shoes (heels) so its healing quickly. I think what I did to myself was just a horrible bruise.

Freewillastrology CANCER (June 21-July 22):
"Never play cards with a man called Doc," said Nelson Algren in his book A Walk on the Wild Side. "Never eat at a place called Mom's. Never sleep with a woman whose troubles are worse than your own." Whether or not you generally heed cautionary advice like that, I suggest that you adopt a more freewheeling approach in the coming weeks. In fact, given the frontier-prowling, rules-breaking, fun-erupting nature of your current astrological indicators, you may benefit from experimenting with a host of exploits that at any other time might seem iffy or dicey or itchy.
Brian's on call tomorrow so we were going to head out tonight for a bit on his last night of freedom. What kind of crazy stuff should we do?!
I've wanted a new bag for work and finally found one that I love. Its more than I'd normally spend but if I take good care of it and it lasts me forever, I think its worth it (I had an old Liz Claiborne purse that I spent my hard-earned Star Market money on when I was 14 and it held up forever). Buying the cheap thing because its there has only resulted in me going back later to get something else, so I'm trying to invest in quality stuff that I really love that I'll be happy with for the long haul. I LOVE the green:

Date: 2008-02-27 03:08 pm (UTC)I made Mom spend a whopping $30 on a Jansport backpack when I was in middle school. It got zipper disease several years later, but they sent me a replacement, which I still have. I'd say that was worth the pleading it took. :)
