dancerjodiA quick update before another day of meetings - yesterday I was in meetings at work all day. We had our "HEDIS Kickoff" meeting, I ended up with one table to do and six to check (ick)! This should be a busy couple of months!
The company closed at 4:00 and I headed home. Usually it only takes 10 minutes to drive to the other side of the city but it took 30 last night. B was stuck in traffic, got home around 7:00ish to find dinner waiting (I haven't cooked in a long time - it was really nice). We spent the evening laying around, he geeking and me reading (picked up the Goblet of Fire again, only got 200 pages into it this summer and then it ended up in a corner collecting dust). I was dying to go to Ceremony but since driving was icky and most of our friends were staying in we chose to do the same.
At around 10:00 or so we went out to shovel - front walk, back steps and around our cars. "This is great snowman snow" B yelled from the front of the driveway as I cleaned off my car. "Have you ever made a snowman" I asked . . . B had a very inactive childhood and it amazes me how much stuff he didn't do. "No - what did you think?"
So the two of us, at 10:30 or so at night made a little snow mouse in our back yard. He ended up being about 2.5 feet tall. B's face was all red! We went back inside to have some hot cocoa and talk on the couch - over origami (another thing that B had never done before) . . . I STILL cannot make that damned candy box!
It was a nice day and evening, I'm glad that we had another nice snowfall so that we could have the experience.

the snowman will have to wait until I get home.
but I can lend you some of the origami books I have... I'd LOVE to start doing that again... I never got really far, but it was fun, nonetheless...
