Burgercon

Brian and I decided to have a cookout for our geek friends who are usually at Dragoncon but weren't making it this year for various reasons. We called it "Burgercon" and attendees had souvenir badges, costumes, booze and debauchery.

We even had celebrity guests - sort of! Thenetimp called Brian a couple of times from Atlanta, but it wasn't James! It was Aaron "Chief Tyrol" Douglas from Galactica and Matt "General Grievous" Wood of Star Wars. Brian captured the voicemail messages and put them online:

It was so funny: In line at the ticketing counter Thursday morning at Logan airport, I ran into Cavalyn. And then, I heard someone yell my name as we're going through security - and it's Sean! He was on the same flight as me and Jim. Looking around the people at the gate, I knew probably 10 people on my flight, and based on what people were wearing, about half the plane had to be heading to Dragon*Con. HA! So Sean and I chatted, and he told me all about the plan to get guests at Burger*Con :) There are some amusing photos to share later, too! We missed having you guys there in person, though...
