I wonder if they'll give us our own seat

We're going to the vet today (or at least - most likely will). Flopsy is acting very odd and I think it may be the end of his road. He's been in the same place since last night, isn't eating, doesn't seem to be alert at all and isn't fighting back in my ploys to get him moving (he hates to be picked up and I think he'd even allow it now).

I've had many bunnies in my life and have only had one die on me; the others were given away because either I was too young to have one and wasn't good about cleaning the cage so my parents gave him to my cousin or I was heading off to college and wouldn't be able to care for her anymore. Flopsy is acting a lot like my black dwarf rabbit "Bunny" did. Bunny was the rabbit that I got in the summer after my Freshman year in college (why I won't get 'pet store rabbits' anymore) and he only lasted a few months. I knew that he was sick and went out for the evening since there wasn't anything I could do. When I came home around 11:30 PM I found his cage gone from my bedroom and knew what happened; my brother had gone in at one point, found him dead, and took the cage away to make a little grave for him in the backyard (he was so proud of it).

Flopsy has got to be at the vet's estimate between 5-7 years old and the longest I've seen a rabbit live before was 8 years (we're not really sure how old he is exactly since he was a rescue bunny).

*Sigh*, so I'll keep you all posted - I know that some of you have bunny-snuggled Flopsy before (he really is a sweet bun). For your viewing pleasure:

I'm so sorry to hear this about your bun bun. I am still struggling to find out what is wrong with my 3 year old kitty. My good thoughts are with you.

Oh, my sympathies for you and Flopsy. I know he was the first rabbit that ever seemed like a real pet to me - he had more personality and presence than most rabbits I've known and you made him a part of your family.
