Lag Function in MS Access?

Does anyone know how to get this kind of functionality http://help.pop.psu.edu/help-by-software-package/sas/lag-and-dif-functions in an MS Access query? Access will take some VB and SQL script, but I'm not able to get anything out of it using what I'm familiar with.

Adam is a great guy and knows a ton of people because of his role at the Radio Station, so I figured it couldn't hurt to poke him about it. Hopefully he can swing something for you. :)

I'm not sure but I think this link explains the VB script needed to do what you are looking for on the LAG function. (The answers should be viewable at the bottom of the page in Firefox, I think they get hidden in IE).
