I've been so crazy with work, packing, school and house paperwork over the last week that I haven't had time to do much or follow e-mail or LJ, so if there is something that had occurred that you think I should know about please let me know personally (be it in person or via e-mail).

Monster plans are developing about what's going to happen to our house once we move in (basically ripping down ALL walls to re-wire and then adding insulation, sheetrock, plaster and paint - this was a change from the 'lets just cut the holes we need to do the wiring and then patch' plan which was the last one I was aware of). I didn't know about these new iterations until yesterday because, I wasn't following livejournal.

We have so much stuff, SO much stuff. We've only just begun packing and we're already around 50 boxes; I don't know HOW we are going to get it out of the house :/ Only about 5-6 people have agreed to help us move so far (barring the few that already had plans for that weekend). Its nice to see that our help in the past was appreciated, really.

Dancer is being very bitter lately . . . I guess its a good thing that I forgot about the Electronic Music thing at Man Ray last night that I so wanted to go to. Its probably not a good time to be around people.

K and I intend to be there. We discussed it this weekend.

The funny thing about moves is, they happen. No matter how much stuff or how many people show up, they happen. They have to, and they just get done. I mean, the fact that your move is a month away and you are actually putting stuff into boxes before people show up is rather novel.

Ne how, walls are overrated -- why would want a house with WALLS? Bein' kinda picky aren't ya?

Heh

I'm used to living in a place under constant construction (as I told B, at one point when my bedroom was in the finished part of my parent's walk-up attic my walls consisted of only insulation with plastic on them, this state lasted about 6 months before the sheetrock went up).

I just always said I'd NEVER do it in my own house . . . I guess I can't avoid what's in my blood ;)
