Unrelated to this, could you recommend where to look for Waltham (or nearby) apartments? I'm getting disappointed by the craigslist route.

Years ago I had used an agent who is alas, no longer in business (otherwise, I would have sent you there).

The guy that helped us buy our house, Ken Brown, sometimes has rentals. Their listings (both sales and rentals) are here http://www.erakirsch.com/listing.asp?SearchType=ByOffice , though the # of rentals they have really fluctuate.

You may want to check with Deadwinter too . . . he went through a pretty exhaustive apartment search. There is a guy who owns a ton of property in Waltham and Watertown - I forget his last name, but is first is Dennis. Carlos may have contact information for him.

Deadwinter is Carlos, I'm only aware of one burly 6-plus foot Puerto Rican who hung around the goth scene. :)
