Here are some pictures of my friends in NYC yesterday for an ADIDAS promotion, with Snoop Dog. They are selling a limited edition line of Star Wars shoes and clothes, and had the troopers and Snoop Dog walk in the city from one ADIDAS store (the first one to open there) to another (the flagship store in Times Square).

Apparently Snoop Dog was very cool about posing for photos with people and was very nice to them all, but he didn’t seem to have ever seen a Star Wars movie, given how he was acting and what he was saying.

Nope, not an LFL R2 Unit, it was from a guy in the R2 Builder's Club.

RE R2, with all of the fuss I thought it was LFL. I stand corrected, thanks! :)

Nope. It's from Chris Simmons, who also brought it out for the Today Show and the Stock Exchange troop.

I gathered. I assumed it was from LFL because people mentioned being excited about seeing it (and since this is the R2 that comes out for most of the big NYC troops, I thought that if people were actively excited abuot it, it *had* to be LFL). :)

Hehe, how cool would that be, though, to have one of the original props that they put out to events?
