dancerjodiWe have a WHOLE BUTTLOAD of bats near our house! They must live somewhere nearby because at dusk there were tons of them swooping around in the sky above our yard. I've never heard the little bat squeak before :)
As time went on their numbers dwindled as they moved out to feed. I really want to get our bat house up soon so that we can see if we can procure some of our own.

Date: 2002-07-15 08:13 am (UTC)We've had the bathouse in a box for years, waiting for the opportunity to put it up. We were hoping there would be bats nearby to eventually take up residence in the thing (need to figure out where to put it) . . . I guess so!
