Look Sir, Nerds!

dancerjodiHe had a lot of fun hosting a costuming day for the NEG and Alderaan Base. Most of what went on was socializing and eating (which is always a good thing) but there was some group brainstorming and some building taking part around the house, of all sorts.
In any large group there is bound to be drama, but I think we have a great group of people in the Star Wars Community in New England. It has been a lot of fun to make new friends, learn new skills and just connect in this odd way. The last of the folks left around 10:00 PM, making me glad I had taken today off.
I have an appointment at 2:00 so I'm hoping to be productive and run some errands that are much nicer to get done on a day off on my own, rather than taking time away from Brian and I to spend together (or do more of the things we'd like to do on purpose). Groceries, pet store, that kind of thing. In the process though, I'm going to use more holiday gift cards, woo hoo!
