I made it to my 7:30 meeting in Melrose only 10 minutes late, which wasn't too bad since most of our doctors were late (or didn't realize we had a meeting at all). All in all the roads weren't too bad as far as snow accumulation or icyness (though there was a bit of a scary patch in Burlington on 128). 93 was moving at a crawl. I figured I'd be better off sticking to the highways than backroads, but Main Street in Melrose was clearer than either highway I was on!
It's been a crazy day: snow, traffic, meeting confusion. Such is life sometimes. I'll be happy to eat some crock pot chilli tonight and do some baking (pizelles for a visit to a friend's tomorrow) and curling up in the living room. Brian and I are working our way through Twin Peaks via Netflix.
These Timerbland boots have definitely proven themselves this year - warm, dry and comfortable.
A while ago I posted about a project I did to scan my Grandmother's old recipes and put them into a book with some family photos. It was a large undertaking but I was really happy with the result, and I ordered books for my immediate family. One of my cousins asked if he could buy one for himself, so I ordered from Apple and shipped it to him in DC. And then he had a great idea - could I convert the iPhoto album to a .pdf to share with people so that they could use electronically or print in another less expensive manner? iPhoto does support exporting to a movie file, but, I was able to print it to a .pdf last night! Here's the file for the world to see up on google docs, both a small and a large version:
Small version https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0BwICsU62XN4XYzhkM2ViMGEtMWEzMC00ZGRiLWJjNTMtNGRiNjU4OWY5YWVi&hl=en&authkey=CMKM3O8B
Large version https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0BwICsU62XN4XODY3M2I3MzYtOGQwZC00YWMxLThiYmMtZTExODA3OGUxYmM1&hl=en&authkey=CMnO0rAG
Here you go family, have at! If you want me to purchase one bound and all fancy from iPhoto though, I can work something out with you.
