Crunch crunch crunch
Feb. 14th, 2011 01:53 pmI rented our snowshoes from REI for our March overnight at Mt. Cardigan. They don't rent poles - anyone have a good suggestion of where I could buy some cheap (i.e. not at REI), or borrow some? REI only rents poles with their ski stuff.
Thanks in advance. :)

But honestly, the Black Diamond trekking poles that I picked up at REI have been wonderful, and come with baskets for use in snow. I haven't used poles when I've gone snowshoeing though, I was either on easy terrain or in thick brush where the poles would get in the way.
