She came home from the hospital yesterday. She's on a new drug regime and will have blood tests every 2 months to monitor how she's doing, and catch if she's going to have a flare-up before it happens.

She's been really happy with this Gastro, so she's changed to him and picked a new PCP in that area too.

We're going to visit this afternoon.

One of my closest friends has severe Crohn's disease (she was diagnosed in college and has been dealing with it for ~15 years) knows all the specialists and doctors in the Boston area and a lot about the treatments (as she has tried ALL of them). If you want, I could put you in touch with her as she loves to help others and used to volunteer to teach others about the disease. She is very open and very helpful.
