We went through it, too. We did 5 chlomid cycles. I wish this was something that got covered in sex ed in High School. Almost everyone I know who started trying later than age 27 or so had trouble. My theory is that early 30s is a bit too late to have a first kid. Or maybe our lives are stressful.
Isn't it ironic that we spend our most fertile years taking pills to make us infertile, and our less fertile ones taking pills to make us more fertile?
On the other hand, maybe it's nothing new, how many fairy tales start out like this: "Once upon a time there was a king and a queen, who were so sorry that they had no children; so sorry that it cannot be expressed. They went to all the waters in the world; vows, pilgrimages, all ways were tried, and all to no avail."
