My general luck with cars

So, the leak in the antifreeze was not only due to a loose connection, not due to an old tube that needed to be replaced.

Its possibly the Head Gasket (or more complicated/expensive). My mechanic can do no more to it.

I'm bringing it to a Ford dealer to asses on Monday. If it costs $1000 or more I think I'll be in the market for a new car. BLAH!

I don't even know where to begin looking.

If you look in the fridge, all you'll find is left-overs.... DOH

BTW, your looking at ~ $1500.00 ...then they add on this and that.....
