I'm still on that train of "should I keep trying my best" and "should I start to try and back off bit by bit on the breastfeeding. In my head off in the distance is our trip to FL for Celebration VI, where Mina will most likely not be going with us. Hrm.
She is starting to seemingly pay attention to food, which means that more solid things will be coming. I'm debating between the traditional 'spoon feed the mushy stuff' and the baby-lead weaning approach. Maybe a bit of both? Or would that be confusing? http://www.babyledweaning.com/

Date: 2012-05-10 07:02 pm (UTC)Probably around the same time, we also started attempting to let him try to feed himself. We'd feed him, but we'd also give him a chance to hold the spoon and try.
I figure - everything is practice - get them started practicing things and eventually they will learn it.
