So B and I want to make a weekend trip to http://www.ohwy.com/vt/g/grfiroin.htm some time this fall (their main web site appears to be down at http://www.griffin-grove.com/ right now). I want to be part of goth soup! I want to indulge in N's amazing cooking! I want to bellydance around a firepit! I want to sit around on my ass all weekend in lovely North Country foliage!

I need to give them a call to see what's available (I'm thinking late October or early November would be good) but we're not spending as freely as we were in the past and it would be really cool to have roommates. Is anyone interested on going? We could share the studio (sleeps 6) or just take over the Inn and have one of the group trips of time gone by (of course this all depends on availability at the inn and interest of you fine people).

Well there are two ways around this:

I can be rude and honest NOW,
or I can be rude and honest, trapped in upstate Maine, when I can't get away from someone and lose what remains of my temper.

I make it very clear that I need to know who is going, before I go somewhere, to alleviate any problems before they arise. I don't like freaking out, nor do I think my friends should have to put up with my bad attitude. I don't go to some parties for that exact reason, too much drama.

Rude, maybe. Bitchy, definately *evil grin* But honest, yep, and definately minimizing drama. Personally, I don't see a problem with this, but I never see a problem with being honest up front.
