So B and I want to make a weekend trip to http://www.ohwy.com/vt/g/grfiroin.htm some time this fall (their main web site appears to be down at http://www.griffin-grove.com/ right now). I want to be part of goth soup! I want to indulge in N's amazing cooking! I want to bellydance around a firepit! I want to sit around on my ass all weekend in lovely North Country foliage!

I need to give them a call to see what's available (I'm thinking late October or early November would be good) but we're not spending as freely as we were in the past and it would be really cool to have roommates. Is anyone interested on going? We could share the studio (sleeps 6) or just take over the Inn and have one of the group trips of time gone by (of course this all depends on availability at the inn and interest of you fine people).

I can't take any additional days off, but you already know that Alli & I would be up for splitting the studio with some other folks. I don't think i can stay in the inn itself because of the cats.

Probably since I've never seen the place, but this depends on:
1) London, if and when
2) Lou, if and when
3) who else is going becuase I just CAN'T spend the weekend with some people
4) if the CB works out, because then I can deal with anyone, anywhere *schmoop*.

I'm aiming for either early October or Early November for London, to be gone for a weekend (a week, but from like Tuesday til Tuesday) and I have a wedding the weekend before Halloween. And Lou (my Ranger) is home probably in late October, and I'm hoping to cart him off to NYC for a weekend of booze and loose women (for HIM dirty dirty!)

Erm, so maybe not? Depending on when you decide. I'll keep watch.

Well there are two ways around this:

I can be rude and honest NOW,
or I can be rude and honest, trapped in upstate Maine, when I can't get away from someone and lose what remains of my temper.

I make it very clear that I need to know who is going, before I go somewhere, to alleviate any problems before they arise. I don't like freaking out, nor do I think my friends should have to put up with my bad attitude. I don't go to some parties for that exact reason, too much drama.

Rude, maybe. Bitchy, definately *evil grin* But honest, yep, and definately minimizing drama. Personally, I don't see a problem with this, but I never see a problem with being honest up front.

I should also give you something helpful like open dates, provided all the acceptable duckies can get lined up in their cute little row.

We've got many fall bookings in fact at least one room booked and in many cases more than that during all of September and most of October. The only weekends where all three rooms are still open are: October 25-27 and all weekends in November after the 1-3.

I don't know if my school schedule will allow me to go, but it sounds fun. When you pick a date, L and I might be interested in coming along - maybe even camping, cause we are crazy like that! I've heard of the past trips and thought they sounded great.

I'm interested, can probably convince J, would also like to know who's going, would probably need to stay in the studio due to J's allergies to the house and dislike of dogs, would probably mention this to a few other friends who arent on LJ if they wanted to get in on it, could endeavor to get money together by November, and as a not so subtle hint, my birthday falls on a friday this year. :)
