Its almost over, this hellish week. Why does my work stuff need to be really crazy in the week that I'd like to relax a bit?
Class last night was great! I'm really looking forward to this class and the other one (which starts on Monday). People seem a lot more serious about things this semester and it seems like most of the students will really get into it (as opposed to the 1/2 active 1/2 just looking to get 3 credits group of last semester). The second part of this class which will be offered in the spring will pretty much be a semester spent in designing, running and analyzing a study that the class works on together. I guess the SPSS coding skills that I've gained at work will come in handy in school sooner than I thought! What I'd really like to get into is SAS - its one program that it seems many peers have used in Grad School but our company is too cheap to pay for it (so I have yet to get experience). I noted that the Graduate Computer lab offers classes in them but they are in the middle of the day - SUCK!

I'd really like to take my sweetie out for dinner tonight. He's been running ragged getting ready for this Lan party and he's starting to come down with a cold (mental note - must balance checkbook and check wallet; I get paid tomorrow so I just need to see if I have some cash for food and goffee tonight) :)

And its SO beautiful out today! I'm going to try and convince my co-workers that we should go sit outside in the grass.
