Here's the 2 hawks that were in a huge tree across the street from our house. To get perspective of height, the top of that tree (with the birds) was probably about 40-50 feet high.
Now, can any bird people actually confirm something interesting about them? According to Vinnie (our overlly Italian neighbor) they are hawks but I don't know anyting about his bird watching expertise.

I use to watch them skydive for mice and occasionally cats when I was younger.
They never actually hurt the cats, mind you. They just liked to play with them ;-)
