The sun is starting to set, I can see pink outside of my work window. And soon I'll take off for the night making a stop at the bank to deposit paychecks on the way (I guess it takes a few weeks for direct deposit to go through, suck).

Tonight we're checking out the town's community holiday lighting ceremony. I guess there are going to be girl scouts singing and elementary school bands playing to accompany the lights, free cookies and cider and HUGE toy soldier statues that are scattered all over the town (I wonder, are they the old ones that used to be in Shopper's World - *sniff*, I miss that place).

After that we're stopping by a pottery sale to pick up a mug that replaces the one I got for a wedding present with my name painted on it (I was a dumbass and dropped it in my kitchen last winter, I almost cried when I did it). From there we're getting a "meaty" dinner per B's request and then checking out http://www.bazaarbizarre.org . Last year I had a Xmas show this night and after dancing and standing around in expensive ex-Rockette costumes I went home to grab B and we drove into Davis for dinner at Diva and the tail end of the Fair. It was so neat! I got this cutie clay elf ornament and bought B his satanic vampire bunny t-shirt (the design was bleached in).

Hmm, perhaps this year I'll buy a pair of those David Bowie thongs :)

I like weekends. No matter how unhappy things may be, the weekends always make it better.

There are some big-ass wooden soldier statues in a park in Nashua. I totally want to repaint them to look like Nazi S.S. -- "Ve haff vays of making you shop!"

But that's just me.
