Its Monday again, where did the weekend go?
B was feeling the start of a cold on Friday, so we didn't go to the Miss Gothic MA pageant at ManRay. On Saturday we chased a 5 year old around the house in circles with Star Wars blasters for hours and after dinner had an early night in since our plans were changed. And yesterday was the full day brunch followed by Super Bowl silliness. Is it a bad thing that the women were watching the sweaty men and looking at 1/2 naked women in an online lingerie catalog while the guys were off geeking?
I love hanging out with my friends in our pajamas by a fire. It had been way too long! Thank you all, who were willing to come out to our hood :)

This week marks the official end of my total after-work freedom, class starts on Wednesday. And in addition to that I need to call Saturn about getting some work done on my car, I'm leaking antifreeze.

As much as I'd like to take dance classes again, I don't think the one in Framingham at the studio I mentioned will be for me. I think its too serious, too professionally-minded (I just want to move and to have fun). Anywhere that has a dress code for classes seems too uptight for me. I'll continue working out at the gym and at home, and try to get out for club dancing more. Its been way too long.

I've been feeling creative urges lately and I want to continue working on sewing that dress. Hopefully tonight I'll be able to spend some time on it after doing more dishes from yesterday's brunch :)

Date: 2003-01-27 10:04 am (UTC)Here's wher eyou can get the "pretend" oil paintings of the PreRaphaelite works like "The Accolade" and "Meeting on the Turret Stairs" and "La Belle Dame Sans Merci": Most of these run about $300 NOT framed. Put it on your Christmas wish list. :-)
www.basilstreet.com (Meeting on Turret Stairs by Burton; A Mermaid by Waterhouse; Lad godiva by Collier).
www.DesignToscano.com has forged iron medieval sconces, armor, tapestries, medieval furniture. Warning: it's not cheap. Also. . . .there be dragons!
There's another art place for pictures, can't find the catalogue, but will send it on to you when I come across it.
