So today I'm sleepy *and* achy. Getting 4 hours of sleep after dancing in uncomfortable shoes all night doesn't make for a chipper Jodi. Still, I had a great time and can't wait to see all of the pictures. The http://www.501neg.com/ seemed to be trying pretty fiercely last night to recruit more people. It sounds like a lot of fun, but I don't know if I'd have the time to do it and I'm not sure who I'd be (that requirement to be an evil character and all).

I almost didn't dress up due to one of those silly female self conscious moments but I just sucked it up and went out in costume anyway. I can't believe that I was the only Amidala there (and can't believe that some people thought I was supposed to be Leia). I know the costume wasn't great though, shirt was totally wrong, shoes were totally wrong - I mean, my gun was in a cell phone holder hanging from a belt (both of which were the wrong color, a bit too dark).

I think tonight I want to crawl into a hole with my B and get lots of sleep but there's things to do like picking up new insulin and needles from the vet (to the tune of over $100), putting out trash, cleaning the cat's litterbox, making dinner, finishing laundry and homework (ick). I really want a vacation - I'm SO excited about next weekend (taking Friday and the following Monday off).

Have a great day all! I'm off to wash out my bowl, get some water, and try and be productive despite the fact that I feel like I've been run over by a truck :)

he's on Ultralente (U), right? if so, "experimental" my ass. that's been on the market for several years now.

i wonder if the pet insurance works kindof like regular insurance - when i started taking Lantus (a really long acting insulin), my insurance wouldn't cover it because it was new and they hadn't approved it. a letter from my doctor saying that i needed it fixed that problem right away and the insurance started covering it for me. i wonder if a letter for your vet would work for Max's insurance problem?

Nope, PZI http://www.felinediabetes.com/pzi.htm . I actually had to sign a form to enroll him in a "clinical trial" in order for the vet to order the drug for me (i.e. I can't just go get it or the needles at CVS like I used to for the previous types of humulin that he was taking).

I know a while back the cost of the premium was more than we paid for his visits and drugs. Its just now that he's on PZI that needles and drugs cost a lot more (still, I only need to buy them every couple of months or so).

Its been a long time since I've looked into how the plans work so I can't remember the specifics :)
