Jun. 5th, 2001 09:51 amAre there certain songs or artists that remind you of specific times in your life?
-Old 80's movie soundtracks (Fame, Flashdance), New Edition and the Pointer Sisters remind me of Saturday afternoon jazz classes with Miss Beth.
-"Merry go Round" by Motley Crue reminds me of the summer that my friends and I spent all of our free time at the carnival behind the Sacred Heart Church. That was the year that a kid was stabbed and killed there (which is why its so difficult to get a good carnival in Waltham now).
-Old Tori Amos albums or Meat Loaf's "Bat out of Hell" reminds me of driving around countless hours with my friend Eric in High School.
-The 10,000 Maniacs "In our Tribe" reminds me of time spent in the dorms freshman year at Simmons doing homework.
-Msc. songs from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" remind me of the early days of movie going and when I first met B.
