ZZzzzz . . .
Apr. 7th, 2003 08:22 amI didn't get nearly enough sleep this weekend, I'm torn between taking a nap after work before heading to Ceremony in the snow or doing dishes, laundry and cleaning the place first (because God does it need it!).
The physical labor:
Collectively a bunch of us ripped down our shed, put it into a dumpster, cleaned the yard up of most debris and got rid of the wood and paneling that we had pulled out of our laundry room earlier in the year. MAN am I tired and sore from all of that!
The not physical labor:
We finally tried Floramo's in Chelsea ("where the meat falls off the bone"). Since I'm not a beef eater I found the salad dressing and tomato sauce really good; my chicken was just "eh". The new Vin Diesel movie was lame (he kind of looks like a monkey when he tries to act like he's all emotionally broken up inside). I finally bought some clothes for work so I won't need to alternate the same 6-7 outfits that I have to wear all of the time - I think my co-workers will be shocked by the variation in color (it won't be all black, dark grey or purple anymore). Bruce Campbell is a god and it was so much fun watching his movies in MST2K style (too bad we started late and didn't make it all the way through all 3 of them). And my Dad rocks, buying Thai food for the whole fam and taking time out of his busy night to chat about the painting he's working on now was really nice. Of course when driving down to the place to pick up our food (Tom Can Cook) I got the familiar 'ah, Moody Street, God how I miss it, *sigh*' feeling. Why do I have to be so damn difficult with this living situation thing?
****
I should hopefully have some pix to share later from this weekend for you all to check out. Have a wonderful day (and if you're heading to Ceremony tonight, I'll see you there) :)
