So,

After some calm time yesterday which I really needed I've decided to stay put for the time being. We went to Ceremony to see the last Scissorkiss show for now before Liz heads off to Grad School and I had a reading done with Sara . . . it also said I should hold on until winter. It also said I narrowly averted a major disaster recently, hmm. That and that I haven't been true to myself. Duh.

I'm hoping this week will be calm, productive and filled with friends. Its been too long (not really, but it feels that way).

We have a living room again, its one of the things that made me feel so good yesterday (in addition to being able to read for hours and finish the new Harry Potter book). This week we'll be working on odds and ends like final staining, painting, cleaning and then next week we should have our kitchen completed after the plumber comes to hook in the stove, sink, dishwasher and our water filter that's in the fridge.

Its freaky, it doesn't look like our house, it seems HUGE. Soon we can go shopping for bar stools for the breakfast bar and for silly things to put on the walls and above the cabinets :)

Reading

I just started my next book, I'm hoping to finish it before going back to school and needing to devote time to reading and writing for class.

I'm really liking it quite a bit - if you're into Boston history, urbanization, sociology, race relations, organized crime, learning of issues of poverty or Irish-American experiences you'd probably get a lot out of it. I found out about this from some classmates that had to read it for a class last year.
