I'm off of work tomorrow for Ozzfest, so today is my Friday.
When I get home after work we should have a sink, and a stove, and a dishwasher. I can load up the last 3 months worth of dirty dishes into a dishwasher, and wash the pans in the sink.
After this, all we have to do is some staining of woodwork, painting the radiator and painting the crown moulding. Its doing this last bit that's hard to get motivated for . . . we were going to last night but settled for videogaming/crawling on the floor with the cat instead.
On Tuesday I had allergies, yesterday morning it felt almost like a cold. Since then I've been pretty medicated with Non-Drowsy cold capsules which keep me from being congested but make me all medicine-heady. God I hate that feeling.
So we won't be at goffee tonight, I want to try and take back my kitchen completely, I want to cook something on the STOVE and want to try and get to bed early so I'm not a zombie for tomorrow's show.
Oh - I met another neighbor yesterday, a hippie type that wants to have a block party 'meet the neighbors' thing so that we can get mobilized and storm town hall and demand that something be done about people speeding down our street all of the time. The other end of our street comes out to Rt. 126 right before a very busy intersection, so people use our street as a cut-through all of the time. We shall see what comes of it, it would be nice to talk to neighbors again (I haven't really since we moved out of my parent's house).
