Ze update

Friday's Ozzfest was amazing, wow. We found some new (to us) bands to check out (Killswitch Engage and Shadows Fall), MAN does Cradle of Filth suck! Main stage bands were great, Korn played some Metallica (!), Ozzy doesn't look to be in good shape but he still rocked nonetheless and played mostly old songs, rawk! It was neat to see "The End", the Jonathan Davis Art Exhibit featuring Geiger (including Davis' mike stand) and Todd McFarland as well as serial killer art.

Saturday was fun, we went on a "treasure hunt" at George's Island which was neat, here's some pix and info on the island http://www.massfilmbureau.com/html/FeeFree/geoisland.htm . The evening was topped by seeing Freddie vs. Jason, man that's the funniest movie I've seen in a long time.

Yesterday was chill and productive time, I got to visit the fam and we got to have the Tiggerette and Developer over for dinner. We also continued with the pursuit of cleaning clutter out of the house . . . we put an old computer desk on the sidewalk with a "free" sign on it and it was gone in minutes. Xanyboi was the recipient of an unused printer that spent a year in my craft room closet unused.

This and next week should prove interesting, lots of Dragoncon prep is to be done and hopefully, finishing up kitchen odds and ends.

Festival of the Lion

If B is cool with it, I'd like to check out the http://www.festivalofthelion.com/ this weekend, its less than a 1/2 hour from our house :)

Is anyone going? I was curious to check it out, then found that IWG people would be there, then found that there would be bellydance performers too.

The only issue is garb . . . my bodice isn't too comfy (not that its too tight, its that it digs into my hips and leaves a huge red mark there - its just not a good style). So I'm not sure what to wear.
