Deep Thoughts
Nov. 4th, 2003 09:59 am(which reminds me, its been a long time since I've seen SNL)
Miss Howard Stern has such an annoying voice, I want to slap her. She sounds like a 5 year old mousey girl. I have no clue what she looks like (must be amazing for her to be dubbed "Miss Howard Stern", though I'm not going to look for pix from work) . . . but I think I'd claw out my own eyes if I had to listen to her talk for a long time. They are having some contest for the smartest stripper, and Miss Howard Stern is up against 3 other women. Damn, the prize for the winner is $15,000!
The last few days that I've had meetings and had to come in with a suit (versus the normal business casual dress) its been crappy and rainy. I'm happy though that its a school day - at 2:30 I'll go throw on my jeans and then head to school. I couldn't bear to keep this outfit on until I got home at 7:30 tonight :)
My musical selections for the day:
The Darkness, Permission to Land (still haven't taken it out of the car)
Shadows Fall, The Art of Balance
10,000 Maniacs, Our Time in Eden
Lacuna Coil, In a Reverie (see comment about car above)
Tori Amos, From the Choirgirl Hotel
what are yours?
The Clone Wars cartoon is this Friday night, Brian and I will be staying in to watch it (presumably) and this makes me SO happy! I can't remember the last time we stayed in on a Friday to watch a movie or something on TV (does this mean I'm old?). Its on the Cartoon Network at 8:00, EST. Here's some info, I'm guessing the site has sound (I can't tell - its shut off on my computer here at work): http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/clonewars/
Does anyone want to come over and join us for it? We'd probably make, grab or order dinner at around 6:30 and then settle in for the show.
