Happy NYE Everyone!
Dec. 31st, 2003 08:25 amFirst the school stuff, my GPA for the semester was 4.0 (two A's, whoot!) and my cumulative GPA for the program is 3.92. Double rock. I am now officially done with 1/2 of my Master's degree.
I got my spring tuition bill in the mail yesterday, ouch! This is the first time I'm paying for 9 credits at once (3 classes worth) and it came to around $3300. I know this is cheap compared to private colleges so I'm not complaining but man, only $900 of that is tuition (the rest are fees - or rather, funds to end up in Bulger's pocket). Its a good thing that I got that Christmas bonus for work, I don't know how I'd pay for it otherwise.
The visit with my HS friend was very nice. We made fajitas for dinner and then chilled in her apartment. She's REALLY big into scrapbooking and is a consultant for http://www.creativememories.com/ . If anyone wants to buy stuff or host a party (where she teaches lessons on scrapbooking techniques) please let me know - her stuff is looking really good.
