Its the first full week without my boss. I need to kick ass and get a lot of things out of the way today.
I'm wearing a new necklace I picked up on Friday at Lane Bryant (I went for a gift cert for my Mom). I also got her one of those trendy costumey jewlery pins . . . I need to pick some up! I've definitely been more in the mood to improve my work wardrobe since I'll be taking on a more visible role.
Megadeth is in less than a week. I've been listening to their CDs in the car and at my desk.
It was an awesome weekend - I had kicked butt on homework last week and finished my paper early, so I didn't have to do any (though I worked on my EMR paper a bit last night). I spent a lot of time with the hubby, went to a nice church craft fair, geeked at a comic book store and met a hot Star Wars Celebrity http://www.501neg.com/photos/thumbnails.php?album=196 , saw friends, chilled in the Jazz Cafe (new coffee shop on Main that has French pastries and soon will have live Jazz on the weekend), played Apples to Apples, finally saw the Tiggerette for a bit, visited Gram, did the Mom's birthday thing and watched A LOT of That 70's Show. I'm addicted.
It was a taste of what's to come once school is done. In related news, I'm going to be selecting a gym to join soon (either Fitcorp again or Workout World). Both of them are easy to get too, both have good classes and both are reasonably priced. I'm hoping to do some research on it next week because this week I'll be spending extra cash on getting a banner, tablecloth, etc for a con that Brian and I are going to in 2 weeks - Supermegafest! After December I'll start dance classes again (though January is mid-year for most places so this may be a challenge). I'm hoping to take 2 a week and that in addition to gym going should get my flabby self back in shape.
Have a great week all!
