I'm finally watching Factotum, about Charles Bukowski. It came out a while ago and I was dying to see it in the theater but kept missing it. I think they got the feel of his stories down pretty well.
Charles Bukowski was the antithesis of me, so I'm not sure why I've always been so into his writings. Maybe that is why? Despite his scruff he's written some quite beautiful stuff here and there.
Brian's spending a lot more time down in the basement getting ready for CV. The last minute costume stuff makes me crazy but he thrives on it. I'm taking these lonely nights as an opportunity to watch the stuff that he would have no interest in. It's like a visit to parts of far away times in my life.
