I've been busy living, so I'm not spending as much time interneting. I'm trying to use tech for tools to make things a bit easier and document my life so I can look back on it later (kind of why I love LJ and still use it).
Here's some pictures of what we've been up to.
Our girl is enjoying making art more and more, as she does it at school each day
http://www.flickr.com/photos/dancerjodi/8616264259/in/photostream . She colors restaurant menus, brings home treasures from daycare and even manages not to eat the crayons most of the time. I'm taking pictures of everything and saving it in a Flickr gallery so that I don't feel the need to keep all of the things! I'll keep our favorites/special ones. I'm going to put away some of the Easter things to use for decorations in our home next year. We put the current favorites in our back hall gallery off of the kitchen. It is astounding how this photo directory is growing! It will be neat to see how her work progresses.

http://www.fusion-foods.net/ recently, oh my goodness! So good, so fresh, and in such an unexpected place! I want to go again but this time with Brian and Mina. Here's us on the way out:

The city had a free 'Come meet the Easter Bunny' thing at the Government Center building. Mina LOVED the Bunny! She walked right up, cutting in front of the other kids milling about (a line had not yet formed yet). They had balloons and fake tattoos and crafts and a talking dalmation. Much better than paying and standing in line at a mall!

http://www.taqueriamexico.com/ had mariachi so early on a Friday (6 PM)?! We had a great time, and Mina loved them (as well as the tortilla chips):
http://www.flickr.com/photos/dancerjodi/8616253575/in/photostreamI have to get off my butt and sew Mina's Ewok costume for Boston Comicon. The headpiece came from Newbury Comics (in the Natick Mall). I'm commissioning an Ewok Leia dress for myself. Mina and I went out to meet with the seamstress on Monday, which was an adventure in trying to keep her amused while I was pinned into a muslin mockup (next time, the Muffin will need to stay at home). I am so excited about it! It is going to be great! Also got to get cracking on the braid and the shoes. Oh boy!
