The Walk

Electricsoup reminded me that the walk for breast cancer is coming up.

I'll be walking with some women from my office (one of which is my boss who underwent treatment for breast cancer last year).

She informed us at our staff meeting today that next week she'll debut her new do' - the hair has grown back enough that she can lose the wig that she's been wearing since last year. Her hair pre-cancer was long, silky and honey-blonde color (probably down near her butt). Now its short, curly and apparently a "New York Haircut" that she needs to put gel in to keep control of it.

If anyone feels like donating some money to the cause please let me know. I have pay-pal and will also be at goffee this week. I need to turn in my pledges by next Friday 10/10 (the walk is on the 12th).

Brian and I are going to goffee on Thursday, if you won't be there, is there any chance you'll be at home (I could stop by beforehand).

I never heard back from you on this . . . if you still want to donate I'd say find the website for the walk ("Making Strides for Breast Cancer", or "The American Cancer Society") and you can find details how to donate there. Apparently I need to get my money in to the walk organizer at my work by Thursday, so I don't think I'd be able to grab it from you in time.
