Jewlery making tips

For those crafty people out there, does anyone know of a good source for beads? I'm looking for cheap crystal-looking ones (teeny ones, and teardrop ones).

Also, any tips on what kind of wire works well for crown making? I'm going to be trying to make a decent Arwen Ceremonial Crown from Return of the King - for pix go here and scroll to the bottom: http://www.alleycatscratch.com/lotr/Elf/Arwen/Green.htm

For beads, go to either Jo-Ann Fabrics or A.C. Moore. Their beads are under $2.00 a bag...and for wire, I would go with steel wire like 14 gauge (I think) for the thickness and sturdiness of it. Hope that helps!
