are coming soon I think (B uploaded the ones from one camera but I don't think he did from both cameras yet or if he did, that pic of me in my green dress didn't come out :/, dammit!)
For reference, here's the costuming pics we had from Dragoncon and what we were hoping to see along the halls at Arisia (and why, we thought that a Tuscan Raider wasn't really a big enough deal for the masquerade):

Our friend Traci spent so much effort on her Satine Diamonds costume but she usually wears it at cons (and I never tire of seeing it) - she's on the right in this pic: http://www.diabolis.net/albums/conventions/dragoncon2003/hall/?viewmode=browse&lastview=table&file=DSCF0148.jpg
"the only thing i wonder about: how the HELL can they travel with all that stuff? that alone is amazing :)"
I know a lot of people ship things rather than having to deal with them on planes. People drive to DC lugging everything and the kitchen sink with them. The 501st lists also give suggestions on the best brand and style of luggage to fit a stormtrooper costume in :) The sense of community and sharing amoung con costumers is really fun (of course there are always bad eggs in any bunch, but on the whole it seems like a really supportive group).
