A meeting scheduled for 9:00 tomorrow morning was canceled due to the impending snow storm. They figured since the three people presenting reports (one of them being me) had long commutes anyway adding snow on top of that wouldn't result in us showing up by 9:00. Now I'll spend my afternoon pulling together files that I can work with at home (for confidentiality reasons I'll have to strip certain info out of the database to make it HIPAA complaint to have at home). My boss told me to just head in late if the roads were really bad in the morning.
Who knows, maybe they'll even cancel my class at Umass Boston tomorrow night :)
I'm happy for the breaks, but I'd also like to hurry up and fall into the normal spring semester routine too, you know? I've always thought that the anticipation of something bad was always harder to deal with than the actual bad things themselves.
