dancerjodiI was scared out of my mind last night. Wow, there's a lot of work in this class! How the hell am I going to do all of the reading, the weekly homework assignments *and* spend hours doing library research. What the hell?
And then it hit me. Um Dancer, this *is* your THESIS class after all. Right. I guess its a good thing that the Evaluation class will be more thought and less reading/writing than expected.
I have an idea for my topic (one related to my job, even). I need to discuss it with my boss and do a buttload of research this weekend to see if its feasible and if I can put the issue into a sociological context (a good thesis must be theory driven, after all). My topic is due next Monday and my research proposal is due on 2/16. We have things due every three weeks - after the 16th is our literature review, after that the analysis of our data, after that a draft of the paper, after that the final paper and a presentation to the class on it (a pseudo-defense). Yikes!
It was nice knowing you all, I'll see you in three months :/ I'll just be over here with my head buried in a book or a journal - alone.
