We got a postcard from our realtor today. He sends them out sporadically, kind of those "I'm thinking of you, let me know if I can have your money again" types of things. Its just kind of funny that we got one in the mail today of all days. They don't arrive *that* often.
Here's the house btw. I know you're all going to think I'm nuts given the place we live now. Its the location that I'm excited about, not the bungalow: click me
Its around the corner from the cemetery that my grandfather, great-uncle and uncle are buried in too - how gawth!
I remember a Nancy Drew book about a bungalow. I had no clue what they even were beyond 'a small house' until we started house shopping 2 years ago. We even put an offer for one in Waltham (that we didn't get)! If we had we'd be living about 3 houses down from Laeyla. :) The rooms could be tiny (there is a dormer in the back of the house - hence 4 bedrooms) or the place could be a total dump but it may be worth checking out if tomorrow goes well. If not, ah well - its not meant to be.

Driving home today I was listening a CD and heard a great goddess song - only it was about Persephone. I was groovin in the car way more than I have to the Artemis one. I wonder given our attempt to turn this 'event of suck' into something positive Persephone would be a good goddess for me to dance rather than Artemis. I'm a firm believer that darkness isn't a bad thing - we need the negative to view the positive; we need the winter to reflect and then be born again in the spring. I think I may be changing my dance (I still haven't told the teachers what I'd be doing, since I wasn't at class last week and there wasn't one this week).
Hrm.

Date: 2004-02-19 12:28 pm (UTC)I totally forget how big houses in the US are until someone says something like 'about 500 square feet larger.' I'd lovelovelove a flat/condo/house that even approached a thousand square feet, which is terribly hard to find here.
