I went to go see "Requiem for a Dream" last night - I loved the movie and I'm glad that I saw it, but it wasn't a good idea to go when my mood was a bit 'off'.

A big hug and thank-you to all of my friends last night who were concerned at Diesel . . . that movie just rubbed me in a really wrong way and instead of just letting it out - I kept it in. And I ended up feeling very unhappy.

I love you all :)

... is a beautiful, truthful, gut wrenching, hideous movie.

It was very well done. But it showed the ugliness in humans all too well. It showed how far humans will degrade and defile themselves to achieve the goals they have set for themselves. It made me physically ill (not to the point of puking, but I walked out queasy). What the girlfriend did to herself for love of him made me sick inside, crying, then past tears into shaken and sad.
