Its starting again. A woman was raped in her house, in her bed, by a guy that broke in. This happened a few blocks from our house (heading out of Framingham toward where Jillianpie lives):

if it were me, i'd report the rape first and the burglary as an afterthought. but that's just me...

I greatly pity anyone who breaks into your house.
I think Max would go nuts, not to mention your sweetie pie of a well armed husband.
And then there are the attack bunnies.....*shudder*

It sounds like he knew her as well.. so I don't think this is a case of a random guy breaking into houses. That would also explain why the sexual assault was not reported right away.

Small comfort.. the guy deserves to get heavy, metal edged mooks thrown at him.

There was a serial rapist in the Metrowest area about 6 months ago that they never caught who broke into 3 homes (one in Franklin, 2 in Framingham) - there were 2 rapes and 1 attempted one (the woman fought the guy off). They never ended up finding him.

I'm sure this is a different case, its just weird to hear of another one. I don't fear for my safety or anything - it just doesn't give me that warm squishy feeling for my town, you know? :)

hence the need to get out. let this be a reminder to me whenever i question why we're moving :-/
