Here's info on the Waltham show. CARLOS, you may like the 2nd band (read description here): http://www.rocklibrary.com/Features/waltham_04162004.cfm

So ladies, who is joining me?

Here's info on the movie that they are going to be in which debuts in July:
http://www.comingsoon.net/movies/a/americasheartsoul.php

This info was filmed years ago, and its finally coming to fruition. I think its mainly based on the Pino brothers (and less on the band Waltham) but I could be remembering it wrong. It also appears that a related book will be coming out too (searching Amazon for the movie name brings it up). Freaky!

Well,

"oh hey! one of my coworker's brother's was in waltham in high school.somebody fragale?"

They've only been called Waltham for a few years. Before that they were called Dirty Larry (that was their name back when they won the battle of the bands and opened for Queensryche, I think in 94 or 95 perhaps?). I guess it all depends on how old your co-worker's brother was, which incarnation of the band he was in.

There have been lots of different members; only the singer and 2nd guitarist has been constant. The original guitarist (and the singer's brother) who wrote all of their original music left the band a few years back to be in Damone (he wrote most of their songs too). After leaving Damone he's had a role in the band in lights, sound, recording, support, creative input, and stuff like that.

I lived on the same street as some of the Fragales (before they moved to Wayland) and their cousins lived over on High Street . . . your co-worker is probably one the high street crew. They were a lot younger than me iirc (I used to babysit for the two that lived on my street) so I didn't know them well, but my brother probably knows them since he hung out with the Fragales on our street until they moved. Its a large family (kind of like mine, the Scafidis).

Since I stopped hanging out with the Pino brothers on a regular basis after I graduated from high school I didn't really keep up with the incarnations of their bands. Its only been the last couple of years that I've been going to shows of them again and that I've kept up on things. They've definitely had a large, strong following over the years - it appears that the most successes they've had professionally have been over the last couple of years with this current incarnation.

Well, I'm going to be 29 (as are most of the guys from the band now), the ex main guitarist is around 27, the Fragales that I knew and babysat are around 21 or younger now.

My guess is that this guy was in the band after I left high school (93), but left the band a while ago (before I started following them again). The current lineup has been in place for a bit I think.
