What I want
May. 20th, 2004 10:02 amI want to pick up the new Morrissey CD, and the Tori DVD, and Big Fish, because I think my parents would love it and it would be a good end to Sunday dinner (my Dad's going to be doing the Surf n Turf thing . . . mmmmm, lobster). I also want to pick up some rubbermaid bins to pack stuff in that will be stored in the new house.
Of course, after paying bills and putting away some $ for that impending insurance bill I have $80 for the week. That's got to pay for gas and any other random things that come up. Harumph! I'll probably take 1/2 out and buy the rubbermaid, keep $10 for Punk Rock Aerobics, and if there is any left over get that Morrissey CD.
Ah well, all in good time. My splurging is simple though - a CD here, a book there, a punk rock aerobics class there. It all adds up of course, but they seem like simple enough splurges. Its nice to be able to afford to pay my bills, its difficult to figure out what to do with the remaining bit of $ since I want to be responsible, but also want to have a little fun too, you know?
I'm pondering going to PRA on Saturday again while Brian is at a 501st meeting. The problem is, I'll be all sweaty and will need to go back out to Framingham to shower . . . but then back to Brighton to get Brian at the 501st cookout and head to another cookout in Somerville. SOON, soon we will be closer and look back on this all and laugh. Kind of like I laughed deleriously to my self when stuck in traffic last night. It took me 2 HOURS to get home from work.

Date: 2004-05-20 07:55 am (UTC)Don't I know it! I'm even pondering trying to get to a mid-week class every once in a while. They didn't do one this past Monday, but its probably just as well since I was still super sore. I'd imagine after a while things would get less difficult (while still working our bods).
Have fun in CT!
