"The harder I work, the luckier I get." - James Thurber
We're going to Waterfire for the first time tonight, whoot! :) Tomorrow is my nephew's birthday: he's going to be 7 (God, that makes me feel old). I'm pondering going to the Sky Bar on Thursday - what are the bands like? Is it the weekend yet?
Productive house stuff . . .
After work and dinner we went to pick up things we were needing that we could only get out in the Framingham area. Alas, it didn't allow time to go food shopping. Still, its nice to check things off the neverending list of stuff to put the new house together. We ended the night with a visit from Kazama that was coming by to pick up some geeky thing from Brian. And reading - there was time to read before bed (which always makes me happy). The Crue book is definitely coming along . . . its perfect fluffy summer reading.
But back on the house front, we are in desperate need of a trip to Home Depot. We need to build our new bunny house, because the poor buns are going stir crazy in their temporary cage. Its the largest rabbit cage I've ever seen and all . . . but its smaller then the Chez Rabbit that they had before. Its going to be a lot like the one we had at The Shaghaus but will look more finished, and will be 3 levels (storage on bottom, 2 levels for rabbits). We also need to rabbbit proof any exposed wires so that we can let them out of the cage to run around the room if we feel like it.
I can't wait until we're able to do that and finish putting that TV room together. And on Monday, our new dining room set comes. That will be the last of the boxes to unpack (and we can finally have some celebratory sparkling cider, since our wine glasses will finally be unpacked)! After that what remains is getting odds and ends that are STILL in my Gram's garage. We also need to put some order to the basement and garage. NOTE TO SELF - CALL FRIEND ABOUT ELECTRICIAN TODAY. We still don't have our washer and dryer hooked up and Brian's not really feeling like doing it (not like he should be code-wise anyway).
Anyway, back to my hard work :)

Date: 2004-07-19 05:47 am (UTC)Hello :)
Brian decided to just buy it at Home Depot (and save the trip driving out to get it from you). I wanted to let you know - because I can't remember if I did or not.
Thanks for the offer :)
