Just like any other Thursday
Nov. 11th, 2004 08:26 amBills are paid, I have a meeting to prep for. I'm looking forward to spending some time with B tonight and going for burritos and goffee.
The drive in was wonderful. Working for a hospital, I don't get a lot of these floater holidays off (after all, we're never closed). I'll be taking some time off around Thanksgiving though - the Wednesday before and the Friday and Monday after. I can't believe that's the week after next!
I have a 50th anniversary wedding party to go to on Saturday afternoon for my Mom's Aunt and Uncle and I have no idea what they are into. Do any of you guys have suggestions for a gift? I was thinking perhaps a gift cert to a restaurant in their area or something. Any good places near Dedham you can suggest? Please help, I'm totally lost with it!
After paying bills I'm hoping to have cash for that, for the Rebel Legion banner we ordered for our table at Super Megafest (got the tablecloth last night - God I've missed living near to Party Needs), *and* for new tires. I should be able to leave the car at NTB on Sunday. Its going to hurt paying for it, but I want to get it over with before the big S word arrives and if I don't do it know when I have the money I may not have money later for it! I also just ordered a copy of that Disney Documentary that the old incarnation of Waltham the band was in, "America's Heart and Soul". It comes out tomorrow, only cost $13 and I figured it would be a cool thing to own. Their segment is really a riot and I hope to share it with all of you at some point (bwahahaha!).
This weekend should bring The Incredibles (we're planning on catching it in Waltham Friday night - sources say that theater does have the Episode III trailer), the anniversary party, Megadeth, raking leaves and a lot of homework.

Dedham
Date: 2004-11-11 05:47 am (UTC)They don't strike me as fancy eating out people really . . . even if I got them a couple different gift certs to chain places, it would give them the opportunity to go out but (I'm guessing) whatever their preferences they could find something they like.
I know where Dedham is, but don't know what's around it - so I'm sort of stuck.

I was wondering how far the Chateau was from them, because I knew it was nearby (and, I could stop at the Waltham one to get a gift cert).
Though come to think of it, my grandmother may give them a gift cert to the Chataeu . . . she gives those to EVERYONE as gifts (not that I'm complaining, I love their toasted raviolis).
I think I'm going along a similar line and getting them one from Vinny Testas. Thanks for the tip!
