Someone asked
Dec. 30th, 2004 01:43 pmOne Miss Peggy related tidbit, is that she was one of the Old Gold Girls with a student of hers. You can see info (and pictures) here:

According to what Peggy said (in a TV documentary of her that I have on home, aired on NBC years ago) a student asked her to keep them company at an audition. She danced beside her, and according to Peg, gave "them" the idea to have the 2 sized boxes next to each other. She was 8 months pregnant when she was inside the box (though you'd never tell from what her legs looked like).
Apparently there is a photo of her in the Museum of our National Heritage in Lexington (in said Old Gold box). I'm a slacker and still haven't been there (despite the fact that its 1 town over, and iirc is free to get into).
(on the note of the documentary, its kind of funny - I was in it at age 15 or so with huge hair, and flourescent green dancewear. You should see it sometime!)
